Second Intercavernosal Injection of Amyl Nitrite

Using ketamine to reduce the perception of pain by way of the central nervous system, the second injection of amyl nitrite was much more tolerable, although as the liquid was passing through the needle into my flesh, it felt as if the metal of the sharp turned red hot. But since this is a familiar sensation now, my tendancy to freak out internally was non-existant.

I have not yet purchased the new syringe filter (which were incredibly difficult to source!) because of the high price and the fact that an entire case must be bought (they are not sold individually). Using the old filters, the dose is still difficult to be accurate, but I used half of the quantity of the first dose, which produced less than 1.5 hours of erection, and about the same residual pain once the ketamine wore off.

Recently, a fellow pe'er has pointed a direction of research to repotentiate the penis to the vasodilating effects of PGE-1 using forskolin extract (thanks Julio!). This extract, which was injected into the penis, allowed PGE-1 to work again to cause erections in those who are no longer feeling the erectile effects of PGE-1 alone. The big question is always "Is there any pain?" We will soon find out, as I have ordered forskolin and am prepared to experiment on it in the next few months.

Next experiments are dmso injections, which should not be too difficult, but injecting strong solvents are always a cause for concern. But since there is no toxicity for dmso, and it is used for cryogenically preserving organs for later use, I really hope that this translates to being painless as well.
