Letters of Discouragement
There are times when people try to discourage you when you let your goals and dreams be known. Why do they do this? We can't really know for sure, but I take it as a sign that without resolve and inner strength, we will never accomplish anything.
This is often the case when I mention my enlargement goals. "You are perfect the way you are," and "size doesn't matter" and "its not possible" tell me more about the person who is saying it than they know. You see, they are repeating things that they have heard said to them by others. As they are often un-supportive in our pursuits, I can only wonder what kind of personal dreams they have failed to achieve by listening to those negative voices.
Realizing that is impossible to please everyone, concentrating on pleasing yourself becomes more obtainable. Although those voices are trying to "protect" you from failure, they only expose their own personal disappointments. Lesson: stick true to what you want, and keep it to yourself if necessary to complete your goal. That way you have much less chances of quitting.
The reason why I write this is due to a recent string of hate mail I received, which has not occurred for some time. Why someone would take their time to write one is beyond me, but the underlying message is that negativity is a child of happiness. I feel sorry that they are unhappy people, and that they probably are in denial about it. Somehow I wish that they can be happy, so they spread cheer to those around them instead of misery.
Wishing everyone a bright and sunny day, even to those who spread darkness. The light only shines in the shadows.
