Amyl Nitrite Penis Injection: Continued
It has been 4 days since my amyl nitrite shot, and the effects are still manifesting: my penis is thicker and longer since then, enough to wear the next size up of divocup than the size 2 I usually squeeze into. My initial thoughts of amyl has changed: this stuff has some real potential and is worth navigating. Pain is the real issue, but anxiety of an untested substance could have amplified my distress. Now that I have time to reconsider, the pain could be worth the gains. What about blocking the penis nerve?
Unfortunately amyl nitrite and lidocaine have disasterous interactions, so locally numbing the pain is out of the question. The only other way I can come up with now is a pain reducer on the central nervous system. Ketamine is an anesthetic/dissociative that acts on the brain, which seems to have worked in my first test. Its short duration and quick onset can possibly be timed with the injection, for maximum reduction of discomfort.
The other problem was that the syringe filter took almost 1 ml of amyl nitrite to fill before anything came out. During the injection, pressure must build up in the filter before it is pushed out. This can be a source of inconsistant dosing, as the volume injected is very small and precise and the filter is too large for the application. My next step is to order micro syringe filters for very small quantities of liquid. The filter casing and material prevents pressure build-up, and dosing should almost be as accurate as without a filter. Unfortunately the cost of these new filters are higher than the regular ones. And the problem of pain is still not addressed.
Using a 30 gauge needle for the first time was pleasantly surprising. It practically slid into my skin without feeling anything. Skin dimpling at the point of skin contact was not noticeable, and penetration resistance was not felt during a normal insertion velocity. I love these needles, but not the price: they cost +3x more than the standard 28 gauge needles. Apparently the manufacturing costs of such a fine needle is the cause for the price difference. I think it is worth it, though. My theory is that I should minimize trauma anywhere I can, and it all adds up. In any case, I have them so I might as well use them up. Too bad the fixed needle insulin syringes are not available in 30 gauge (at least, I have not been able to find them, yet).
Consulting my doctor, he recommended cutting the next dose in half to see what it produces. There could be a chance that the pain could be reduced with the same vasodilating effects. This will be part of my next test of amyl nitrite, along with the new syringe filters and ketamine timing.
Wow, I can't believe I'm planning my next amyl nitrite test! I guess the results outweigh the memory of trauma. I thank Priapus, the Penis Lord, for the chance to continue my crazy experimentation. But does pain have to be the sacrifice? At least it goes away rather quickly.
So with mixed success, amyl nitrite is certainly a drug to be respected when injected into the penis, and with that in mind the experiments will continue.
Thanks for following my adventures in seeking a possible replacement for prostaglandin E1 injections.
